How his music impacted me

Kendrick Lamar’s music has inspired me in ways that I didn’t think music can. Kendrick’s music often addresses pressing social and political issues, such as racism, inequality, and violence. By tackling these topics head-on, he sparks important conversations and encourages listeners to reflect on their own perspectives and the world around them. His music taught me to get my opinion out there and stand for what’s right for me and the people around me. His clever use of different genres of music make his music accessible to a wide audience. K. dot has some of the most influencial and impactful music in the hip-hop genre and will continue to be a pioneer in this space for a while. I have yet to see an artist with the same level of relatability, authenticity and storytelling as Kendrick Lamar.

I count lives all on these songs
Look at the weak and cry, pray one day, you’ll be strong
Fighting for your rights even when you’re wrong
And hope that at least one of you sing about me when I’m gone
Am I worth it?
Did I put enough work in?
