Kendrick first made waves in the music scene with his debut studio album “good kid, m.A.A.d city” in 2012. His music taught me to get my opinion out there and stand for what’s right for me and the people around me. His clever use of different genres of music make his music accessible to a wide audience. K. dot has some of the most influencial and impactful music in the hip-hop genre and will continue to be a pioneer in this space for a while. I have yet to see an artist with the same level of relatability, authenticity and storytelling as Kendrick Lamar.
