Ed Sheeran was born in Yorkshire, England, and grew up in Suffolk before moving to London at age 17. His birthday is Feb. 17, 1991, and his height is 5’8″. He released his first EP, ‘The Orange Room,’ in 2005, when he was just 14 years old; it did not chart on the Billboard 200. Debut studio album ‘+’ (‘Plus’) arrived in 2011 and peaked at No. 5, while lead single “The A Team” reached No. 16 on the Hot 100. ‘X’ (‘Multiply’) became his first No. 1 album in 2014, and “Shape of You” — off third studio album ‘Divide’ — was his first Hot 100 chart-topper, staying at the summit for 12 weeks. Sheeran counts among his collaborators good friend Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Eminem, Elton John, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Luke Combs and many others across genres. The English singer-songwriter has several Grammys under his belt, including song of the year and best pop solo performance for “Thinking Out Loud,” best pop solo performance for “Shape of You” and best pop vocal album for ‘Divide.’
